Vaco has a client in the Madison area in the automotive industry that is in need of a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.
- Use PLEX system as the inventory and accounting system.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management.
- Make deposits / apply cash in Plex for all Plex A/R customers
- Create and document with backup in Plex for all A/R related journal entries during the month and during month-end close.
- Publish the 2 Week Look Forward from the A/R side each week detailing known remittances expected to occur within that time frame.
- Monitor A/R Aging report for any issues and possibly write-offs as needed.
- Monitor Zero Pricing list for any prices needed in Plex for parts being sold to customers.
- As the Ariba A/R administrator, perform all needed Ariba A/R functions (invoicing, changing of user access/email distribution lists.
- Monitor the Mazda MGN EBS remittance sub-module for coming payments and any A/R issues that may arise.
- Perform any manual invoices needed pertaining to the A/R function (part shipments to non-Plex A/R customers, other needed receivables that may need to be addressed.)
- Perform any needed A/R functions regarding invoicing of Direct Supply (DS) customers and related communications and follow-up.
- Make bank deposit tickets, as needed, for checks received in the mail.
- Account assignments-Reconcile any assigned A/R or other account numbers during month-end meeting.
- Prepaid account reconciliations.
- Update all A/R standard work instructions to reflect current working standards.
*An accounting or finance degree is not required, but preferred. A huge plus is automotive industry experience.
