Accounts Receivable SpecialistDepartment: AccountingLocation: Syracuse, NYSTART YOUR APPLICATION ( On-Site in Syracuse, NY (HQ)Role SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Specialist will support our Accounting department by performing Rapid Response-s critical collections and accounts receivable functions. In this role, you will be building relationships with our clients- Accounts Payable teams by making calls, reviewing accounts, and discussing payments. By providing top-notch customer service and relationship building, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will ensure our accounts are in good standing.Pay Range: $22.00 Per Hour - $25.00 Per HourResponsibilitiesReviewing open accounts for collection effortsConnect with designated customers daily who fall beyond the 30-day late mark for account monitoringComposing and mailing notices, disconnection letters, customer notifications letters, etc.Collaborate with management to identify issues attributing to account delinquency and propose solutionsMaintaining accounts through payment plans or financingProvide timely follow-up on payment arrangementsSupport customers by discussing clients- account/financial situations in order to come up with a mutually agreeable payment plan/settlementBasic QualificationsHigh school diplomaProficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsApproximately 2+ years- experience in an administrative, professional or customer service roleAssociate's DegreeCOVID-19 RequirementsMust be vaccinated against COVID-19.
