What You'll Do:
  • Elevate Account Collections: Monitoring and prioritizing balances to ensure timely collection from delinquent accounts. This role also monitors resident accounts for accuracy and prepare necessary documentation for third-party collections agencies. Additionally, maintaining effective relationships with these agencies and stays informed about state-specific requirements for landlord-tenant collection efforts, ensuring compliance and efficiency in our collection processes.
  • Elevate Month End Reconciliations: Assisting with month-end reconciliations and accruals. This includes verifying and reconciling accounts receivable balances to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to prepare necessary entries and adjustments, helping to maintain clear and reliable financial records.
  • Elevate General Practices:Providing tenants with necessary data and backup, processing credit card and ACH payments accurately in Yardi, and promptly responding to inquiries, conducting research, and resolving disputes to ensure efficient financial operations and excellent tenant service.

Your ability to convey information clearly helps you handle challenging conversations and encourage timely payments, even when faced with resistance.

  • Elevated Attention to Detail: You are meticulous and precise, with an unwavering commitment to accuracy in managing financial records. Your keen eye for detail ensures that every account is thoroughly reviewed, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of collections experience or associates degree required.
  • 1-year experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Able to engage with tenants in a positive and professional manner.
  • Experience with Yardi preferred.
