Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Specialist Job descriptionPneumatech Safety Systems is a rapidly growing upstream oil and gas company. We are based in Tyler, Texas and are currently looking to add an accounts receivable specialist to our accounting team. Primary Responsibilities
  • Sending and verifying invoices for goods and services
  • Entering data on accounting statements
  • Resolving account discrepancies and overseeing collections
  • Preparing invoices for approval and submission
  • Communicate with field employees and office staff on a daily basis
  • Provide quality customer service within each incoming and outgoing telephone calls and written requests.
  • Identify opportunities to better a process and participate in the successful execution of that change.
  • Perform document retention functions for the department
  • Maintain contact with the Team Leader and /or immediate supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures
  • General office work consisting of document retention and processing.
  • Preparing and updating extensive Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Various administrative/secretarial/office/clerical duties
Qualifications Education
  • Associates degree in accounting or related field experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
Experience
  • High Volume Accounts Receivable: 2 years
  • Microsoft Excel: 3 years
  • Preferably 2 years experience with QuickBooks
  • Extensive knowledge of receivables processes
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams to constructively resolve issues and resolve problems
  • Excellent problem-solving and resolution skills
  • Ability to participate in and contribute to process improvement projects and departmental initiatives
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner as assigned by department supervisor and other members of management
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
