ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALISTJob DescriptionDWM Holdings is seeking an ideal candidate to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist position. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance, works closely with the Accounts Payable Specialist, Partner Service, Order Entry, Sales and Logistics departments, and is a member of the company's Accounting department.Responsibilities: Prepare invoices and assure timely and accurate billing Reconcile monthly receivable ledger accounts with sub-ledgers Perform month-end close review of all receivable, revenue and related allowance accounts Provide support to the Director of Finance in month-end account reconciliations and analysis Make daily/weekly collection calls Posts customer collections/remittances and prepare daily bank deposit Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due Work with Sales and Partner Service, when necessary, to accelerate the collection process Monitor outstanding account balances for determination of next steps in the collection process Prepare credit applications and gather credit information for new customers Conduct on-going credit checks of current customers/report on deviations from credit standards Protect Company's value by keeping financial information confidential Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing, collection, and credit processes Participation in company and department team planning meetings Adhere to all company and department policies and proceduresRequirements: Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration 1 - 3 Years of Accounting experience and have a general understanding of GAAP Must possess a strong attention to detail, analytical thinker Extremely organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Strong team player and ability to work independently Proficient in Microsoft applications with a willingness and ability to learn new software programs Commitment to excellent customer service Enthusiastic work ethic, goal oriented Possess high level of interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt to all situations in a learning environment focused on a lean journey
