Location: Gorham, MaineJob Summary: Accounting responsibilities related to all Goodwill Industries business units and the preparation of daily cash, accounts receivable and reconciliation transactions.
- Prepares bank reconciliation for the agency's primary operations accounts.
- Maintains and reconciles daily cash receipts for all business units.
- Maintains retail transaction excel spreadsheets.
- Track daily retail store deposits
- Track vouchers and gift cards issued.
- Prepares Invoices
- Monitors Aged receivables and initiate collection
- Engages management in any A/R problems
- Communicates with clients regarding billing discrepancies and questions
- Monitors State contracts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of general office practices
- Criminal background check the meets agency standards
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Ability to work in an open office environment
- Works well on and with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting
