Job Description:
Location: Gorham, MaineJob Summary: Accounting responsibilities related to all Goodwill Industries business units and the preparation of daily cash, accounts receivable and reconciliation transactions.
  • Prepares bank reconciliation for the agency's primary operations accounts.
  • Maintains and reconciles daily cash receipts for all business units.
  • Maintains retail transaction excel spreadsheets.
  • Track daily retail store deposits
  • Track vouchers and gift cards issued.
  • Prepares Invoices
  • Monitors Aged receivables and initiate collection
  • Engages management in any A/R problems
  • Communicates with clients regarding billing discrepancies and questions
  • Monitors State contracts
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general office practices
  • Criminal background check the meets agency standards
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Ability to work in an open office environment
  • Works well on and with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Accounting
