## Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor ensures compliance with company Credit & Collection standards and oversees a team of collectors focused on managing credit risk and accounts receivable collections for the entire company. The incumbent provides excellent customer service associated with the accounts receivable functions while building sound customer relationships to secure payment, create positive pay habits, and provide accurate responses to customer billing and service inquiries.

## Key Responsibilities
+ Trains, develops, and mentors staff to provide the highest quality of service to our customers, maximizing customer satisfaction while mitigating credit risk and resolving disputes.
+ Conducts regular staff check-ins to engage active dialogue and anticipate opportunities for learning and performance development coaching.
+ Fosters a learning culture using industry best practices and leveraging individual skills and aptitudes to ensure optimization and maximize results achieved.
+ Establishes collaborative relationships with Customer Service, Sales, Accounting, Operations and Management to reduce past due trade receivables in accordance with established policies and procedures.
+ Processes adjustments and payments, conduct data retrieval, reconciles accounts, and performs additional activities to ensure money is properly recorded in the correct accounts.
+ Acts as a liaison between divisions and customers to negotiate and authorize settlements for past due account balances.
+ Participates in development projects associated with acquisition integrations and billing/work order management applications.
+ Provides coaching, direction, and guidance to accounts receivable team members by effectively communicating, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members on achieving goals, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities that assist employees in attaining the necessary skills to achieve team and company results.
+ Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
+ Ensures compliance with all company, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws regarding employment and employee safety.
## Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related equivalent in education, training and experience with a related field plus 5-7 years of progressive leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Outstanding relationship management skills and excellent listening, communication and problem-solving skills are required. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of centralized financial database software systems (ERP) and related software are expected.
