Perform other duties as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have AWS or be able to obtain within specified time frame: Specified time frame means: (a) Employees hired January through June have through the end of the calendar year to acquire certification. (b) Employees hired July through December have through the end of the school year (June) to acquire certification. This is a Requirement of Continued Employment.In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System.Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit a drug screening test and background check.Salary: Dependent on rank and experience.
