Counsel with patients about insurance coverage and hospital's payment policy. Offer financial alternatives (i.e., loans or assistance). Qualifications for the job... High school plus one to two years' additional course work. Knowledge of medical business or social science acquired through two years of college or relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.Strong analytical skills including account reconciliation and insurance reimbursement required.Two years' experience in a health care business office.
