ACH Solutions CoordinatorReports To : AVP of Finance OperationsLocation : Corporate, OnsitePosition Type : ExemptIndividual ContributorPosition SummaryThe ACH Solutions Coordinator will apply specialized knowledge pertaining to automated clearinghouse (ACH) activities to increase efficiencies, simplify or enhance solutions in the Finance Resource Center and to reduce member/team member friction. Exercises judgment in the examination, interpretation, and decisions concerning the resolution of problems and activities to prevent monetary losses as related to ACH activities. Goes the extra mile to solve issues for business members, team members and the membership, taking on high level troubleshooting responsibilities for the resource center. Evaluates alternatives to provide ongoing support between Finance and other areas of the organization. Maintains the highest level of professionalism when interacting with business members, team members, and while working with vendors. Evaluates alternatives to provide ongoing support & backup to other team members of the Resource Center. Handles moderate to complex issues and problems which necessitates a clear understanding of 3Rivers policies, systems and external rules and regulations, NACHA & Regulation E. Makes recommendations to management that create business value and are in the best interest of the membership and organization. Generates & assists in the implementation of ideas for improvement in processes & procedures within own area of responsibilities as well as within other resource centers through incoming Finance requests from other resource centers, taking ownership or leveraging other Finance resources and follows up to ensure timely completion and excellent service. Consistently practices effective communication in a variety of settings and provides timely and helpful information to others across the organization. Routinely serves as Finance representation on organization level projects, owns Finance content on the Stream, often serves as the liaison between Finance and other resource centers, and coordinates job shadowing and training opportunities.Knowledge RequirementsStrong knowledge of NACHA operating rules and regulations and how to apply them.Strong analytical, problem solving & financial analysis skills in order to handle complex issues & problems.Effective communication & organizational skills.Efficiency, accuracy & detail-oriented focus.Strong knowledge and ability to adhere to all federal, state and credit union regulations and policies.Experience in creating complex spreadsheets & financial reports & ability to import & export data between various software applications, & to learn & utilize specific software applications, & to understand reporting mechanisms from third parties.Ability to meet deadlines.Ability to establish & maintain positive working relationships with management, peers, employees & vendors.Strong understanding of operations in other departments within a financial institution.Education and Experience3 to 5 years of ACH experienceAAP Designation preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business preferredWork Environment & Physical Effort RequiredNormalCore ValuesCommitment- Be all in.Consistency- Be all in EVERY DAY.Innovation- Think (UYH) and ASK WHY.Integrity- Do the RIGHT thing, not the easy or quick thing.Quality- Do an OUTSTANDING job, don't run out of GAS.Trust- Hold trust and be trustworthy.Value- Make members lives better, easier, safer; help them fulfill dreams; help them to do what they don't know how to or think isn't possible even if it's not here (see integrity above); make them wiser; help them build wealth (beyond saving $$)
