SUMMARY The Accountant - Intern, as a member of the Finance Department at ACM will prepare and support monthly and annual financial close and reporting activities. The Accountant - Intern will develop subject matter expertise in specific areas to which he/she is assigned and will be responsible for providing analysis and support for assigned financial areas

ATTRIBUTES - Student Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration program preferred.
- Must reside in Rochester, NY or commutable distance to site
RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare monthly general and standard journal entries.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist independent auditors with interim and year-end audit.
- Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.
- Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. to keep abreast of the field.
- Maintain required records, reports, and files.
- Perform other duties as directed.
