As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Acquisitions Manager to lead our acquisition strategy for multi-unit residential properties.The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of new property acquisitions, with a particular focus on multi-unit residential properties. The ideal candidate must have significant experience in real estate acquisitions, underwriting, and due diligence. This role will involve identifying new opportunities, underwriting potential investments, managing the due diligence process, and ensuring all transactions meet the firm's investment criteria.Why join us?

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities: Acquisition Strategy & Deal Sourcing:
  • Lead the identification and sourcing of new multi-unit residential property acquisition opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, real estate developers, and property owners to stay ahead of market trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure all acquisitions align with the firm's overall investment strategy and financial objectives.
Underwriting & Financial Analysis:
  • Perform detailed underwriting for potential acquisitions, including analyzing property financials, market conditions, and investment risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast property performance, returns, and potential profitability.
  • Analyze key metrics such as cap rates, NOI, IRR, and ROI to assess the financial viability of each property.
Due Diligence & Inspections:
  • Oversee all due diligence efforts, including coordinating property inspections, legal reviews, environmental assessments, and financial audits.
  • Ensure that all potential risks and liabilities are identified and addressed prior to finalizing transactions.
  • Prepare due diligence reports and present findings to the executive team.
  • Transaction Management:
  • Manage the acquisition process from deal sourcing through to closing, including contract negotiations and deal structuring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, and asset management) to ensure smooth transactions and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead discussions with lenders, appraisers, and third-party consultants as needed.
Key Qualifications: Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a strong emphasis on multi-unit residential properties.
  • Demonstrated expertise in underwriting, financial modeling, and real estate valuation.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing property acquisitions from start to finish.
Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience building complex financial models.
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate market, financial analysis, and investment strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead the due diligence process and oversee property inspections.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field required. Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Real Estate) is a plus.
  • Relevant real estate certifications, such as CFA, CCIM, or ARGUS experience, are desirable.
