Warren Haven Rehab and Nursing Center, conveniently located in Oxford, NJ, has a desirable opening for a Full Time and Part-Time Activity Aide in our Activity Department. Flexible Scheduling available. Activity staff work every other weekend along with some holidays. The Activity Assistant will be responsible for bringing fulfillment an high quality of life to our residents as a valued member of our team. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with the elderly and those with dementia. This is an opportunity to join a Team that makes a difference!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in Planning and Implementing Group and Individual Activities for the our Residents
Assist the Director in Developing, Planning, Organizing meaningful programming
Lead Programs assigned by the Director
Transport Residents To and From Programs in the facility or on facility Premises.
Escort Residents on Shopping, Community Outings when scheduled
Participate in Discharge Planning, Development and Implementation of Activity Care Plans and Resident Assessments
Assist with Meal Pass and supervising and ensuring residents are safe while eating

SKILLS:

Able to work Independently when needed
**Experience in long term care facility preferred however we are willing to train the right candidate without experience**
