The posted pay scale represents the range the Company reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position. The actual wage for this position may depend on factors such as experience and education, specific skills and abilities, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, an applicable collective bargaining agreement, and Company business practices.

The Activity Aide provides one-to-one leisure activities and documents as needed. Documents patient activities on medical record as required by State and Federal laws and policy and procedures. Communicates behavioral observation regarding patients to other disciplines. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in all department specific policies and standards. Maintains a safe and neat working environment. Responsible for evening and weekend programs as needed. Coordinates the activities program with other services in the facility, attends and participates in staff meetings and in-services as assigned. Observe patient 1:1, through line-of-sight, or conduct rounds as needed. Assist and leads groups appropriate to the needs of the patients. Performs related duties as assigned. Assist in keeping unit boards and schedules updated. Works in a collaborative manner with the nursing department and other hospital departments. Maintains activity supplies for the units. Qualifications:

1. Current BLS required upon hire MAB/CPI required within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter.
