Job Description:Seeking anActivity Assistant to serve on a casual, as-needed basis at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota.Assist director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing therapeutic recreation activity programs in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, to assure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, recreational, and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
  • Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months of date of hire.
  • Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
  • Work Experience: Nursing home experience preferred.
