Part-Time Activity Aides to join our team at
Birchwood Care Center in
Hamilton, OH.
$12.50 to $14 Per HourYou'll assist our residents with activities designed to promote their psychosocial, spiritual and emotional well-being.
You'll Be Responsible For:- Working with other members of the Activity Department to provide individual, group & one-on-one activities that promote the total wellbeing of our Residents
- Providing insight regarding the activity calendar
- Conducting scheduled group & individual activities.
- Attending outings & operating bus lift along with other bus equipment
- Attending Team Member meetings as needed
- Assisting with Resident meals
- Assisting with Theme Weeks & special events
- Documenting participation & attendance for all group & individual activities
- Assisting with Customer Service Surveys
You'll Need To Have:- A State Tested Nursing Assistant certification or eligible to earn one to allow more active participation with activity delivery
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- A sincere desire to work directly with elderly residents, staff and families
