  • May lead activities programs as is appropriate.
  • Helps to maintain necessary records/documentation of activity programs.
  • Contributes to the design of activities programs that meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of residents.
  • Helps to identify activities which will meet residents' needs and adapts them to residents' abilities.
  • Helps to identify facility and community resources that can provide identified activities.
  • Informs individual residents of ways the facility can provide opportunities to pursue previous lifestyles, interests, and talents.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma required
  • Related experience in long-term healthcare preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills needed
  • Effective written and verbal skills required
