GC,USCTitle: Activity Director Admin Client: Meijer Full Work Location(s) Address -2929 Walker Ave NW, Walker, MI 49544 Pay Rate up to $55/hr C2COpening / Selling Statement - We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in Active Directory administration, someone who is not only adept at day-to-day management but also has the vision to design, implement, and optimize our Active Directory infrastructure to meet the unique needs of our organization. You will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to strengthen our security posture by implementing robust access controls and security measures.Required Skills - Experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts. Familiarity with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.Job Duties - Active Directory Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain the Active Directory structure to ensure optimal performance and security. Create, modify, and delete user accounts, groups, and computer objects in Active Directory.User and Group Management: Manage user access and permissions within the network, ensuring proper user provisioning and deprovisioning. Create and manage security groups, distribution lists, and organizational units (OUs).Security and Authentication: Implement and enforce security policies and access controls within Active Directory. Monitor and respond to security incidents related to Active Directory.Active Directory Replication: Manage and monitor Active Directory replication to ensure data consistency across domain controllers. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve issues related to Active Directory, including authentication problems and account lockouts. Provide technical support for end-users and resolve Active Directory-related problems.Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Active Directory data to prevent data loss.Group Policy Management: Create, edit, and apply Group Policies to control user and computer configurations.Patch and Update Management: Apply patches, updates, and service packs to Active Directory servers to ensure system stability and security.Job Requirements -Experience: Proven experience in Active Directory administration and management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role. Experience with Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory design, implementation, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of security best practices, including access controls, group policies, and authentication protocols. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with IT teams, end-users, and management. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve complex Active Directory issues.Desired Skills & Experience - Cybersecurity certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Familiarity with other Microsoft server technologies, such as Exchange Server and SharePoint. Experience in virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
