They must design, organize, plan orientation and other training programs. The Trainer will also assess any training needs with employees or consultation with Managers. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and complete records of TWC's customers, and TAB employees progress, performance and development through individual training plans to encourage and monitor progress.
- Weekly communication with TWC Counselors, TAB Supervisors/Managers to ensure customers/TAB employees adheres to TWC contract and the Computer Training Policy the duration of their training.
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
- Develop core and/or individualized lesson plans to establish and communicate clear objectives for training.
- Provide one-on-one or group training in an orderly and professional manner.
- Recommend appropriate out-side training and software as needed to meet training goals.
- Consistently review and evaluate curriculum to ensure that meets TWCs standards and organizational training standards.
- Conduct basic trouble shooting on computer equipment used for the program.
- Promote safe, effective, and ethical learning environment. Complies with and assists other employees understand and comply with TAB's policies and procedures.

- Knowledge and experience with Windows based programs (include MS Office), Screen Reader/Magnifier Software, and keyboarding training programs, MacOS.
- Knowledge and skilled in teaching and knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP development.
- Knowledge of Database programming (a plus)
- Knowledge of application programming in C++, Java, Python, Perl, and VB (preferred)
- Strong skills in planning, organizing, and conducting educational and training programs.
- Teaching/Train others how to use technology effectively.
- Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the overall goal(s) of the course.
- Skilled in teaching Braille (Basics to include Grade 1 and/or II)
- Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with TWC customers, TAB employees and community customers with all levels computer skill sets.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate patience and courtesy when working with people.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in written so others understand.
- The ability to identify and/or assess differences in abilities, personalities, and interests of students to instill a learning and motivational environment.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer technology, Information Systems or a related field. (Additional professional experience may substitute for college degree.)
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in creating and presenting computer training programs to a non-technical audience. Certified Microsoft trainer preferred, but not required. Must have and maintain all TWCs Certifications prior to be added to the TWC contract.
Physical Requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to:
- Prolonged periods of working on a computer
- Ability to be in a stationary position (stand/sit) for 4-8 hours
- Ability to lift/move up to 10-25 lbs. at times
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, adjust position for 50% of time
- Ability to work in conditions with varying temperature, including cold and/or heat
