We are seeking full-time Addiction Counselors / Substance Abuse Counselors to join Addiction Treatment Center Team in Newfane, NY. The ideal candidate will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery. We have full-time openings for: * Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) * Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) * Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) * Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) *Rate Range:* $30 to $40 per hour (rate varies based on license and experience) *The shifts are:* * 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM * 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM * 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM * 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM We are very flexible with scheduling and will work with our counselors to create their ideal work-life balance schedule. Staff will receive a W2 form at the end of the year (taxes will be deducted from your check) Our work week is Sunday through Saturday. Pay is Weekly; every Thursday. *Duties* - Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address substance abuse issues - Educate clients on coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure comprehensive care for clients - Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations *Requirements* - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field - State licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor - Knowledge of various counseling techniques including psychotherapy and behavioral therapy - Familiarity with medical terminology, addiction medicine, and crisis management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement - Experience in child family counseling, applied behavior analysis, ICD-10 coding, and social work is advantageous If you are interested, please APPLY NOW and someone will contact you within the next few hours or less.
