Job DescriptionSchedule:Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 4 days a week, 8am-6pm; This position will also require flexibility based on program needs and weekend hours on a rotational basisSalary:$60,480 / yearSign on Bonus:$5000; $1666 upon completion of 30 days, $1667 upon completion of 6 months, $1667 upon completion of 12 monthsThe PACT Addictions Specialist functions as the team's substance abuse specialist to provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to adults with substance abuse conditions and co-occurring mental illness. The PACT Addictions Specialist leads design of intervention strategies relapse prevention plans; works with persons served on sobriety issues, using motivational interviewing techniques and stages of change model, under the supervision of the Team Leader.This is a fast paced, community based position geared toward helping clients engage in the recovery process and become a part of their community. Using a motivational interviewing and strengths based rehabilitation approach, PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) team members engage with clients and help them evaluate their current life circumstances compared to their hopes, dreams and plans for the future.Why Vinfen?   • CADAC, LADAC I or II in the State of service require
  • Three to five years supervised practical experience, including internships, in a clinical or rehabilitation setting with persons who have psychiatric disabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service discipline preferred.High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong time management, writing and organizational skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year, have access to a reliable vehicle andbe able to pass a CORI, driving record, reference, educational and professional licensure check as well as a multi-state background check.
  • Become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
