Additive Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description:The Additive Manufacturing Technician is an essential part of GITI Tire's Innovation & Digitization team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the operation and advancement of GITI's production equipment and enhance the current 3D part portfolio. Under the general direction of Additive Manufacturing Engineer, the AM Technician will provide quality finished 3D printed parts and/or components/fixtures to the plant floor in a safe and timely manner. We are excited to add a highly motivated individual that can adapt quickly and work within a dynamic environment.Requirements:Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related mechanical field.Organized and time-oriented individual with the ability and drive to contribute towards the quick turn-around time on finished parts while ensuring fine detail and accuracy. Strong mechanical and analytical abilities. Ability to prioritize and multi-task.An understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.Proven ability to work successfully in both team and individual situations. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Proven computer experience.Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. a must.Desired Qualifications:Experience with design for manufacturing, inventory management, lean practices, and manufacturing methodologies.Experience with 3D printing and 3D printing technology.Experience with Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
