Housing is the candidate's responsibility. Interested candidates are encouraged to suggest new courses, or to use course titles already on the books, e.g., Subaltern Urbanism, 'Gender and Empire, Law and Lawlessness in South Asia, etc. which may be tweaked and reconfigured to suit their interests.The exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director. Strong candidate already identified.Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:Candidates must have a PhD in hand or show proof of defense prior to starting the position. Disciplinary training in history, anthropology, and political theory is preferred. A cover letter, syllabus, and teaching evaluation are required upon application.
