DescriptionThe Department of Biology PLV at Pace University seeks a part-time adjunct instructor with teaching or professional experience in Basic Microbiology and General Biology.
- Teaches assigned in-person laboratory courses in discipline.
- Plans, organizes and delivers lessons.
- Provides feedback to students to promote academic success.
Requirements
- At a minimum, a master's degree in Biology and/or a related field, doctorate preferred
- Appropriate level of education based on rank
- Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques and/or organismal biology (phylogenetics, botany, comparative anatomy) preferred
- Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Compensation: $1,349 - $1,795 per credit
