Endicott College in Beverly, MA is seeking adjunct faculty who can help to teach the following courses for Spring semester 2022:

1. CJ 341 Domestic Violence (MWF 1-1:50 PM): This course covers the history of domestic violence as a social problem, its dynamics, prevalence, outcomes, research issues, and contemporary domestic violence policy. The course focuses on domestic violence in the United States. The goal of this course is to provide students with a broad understanding of domestic violence, its effects on todays society, and the resources available to address it. The course also cultivates the knowledge and skills that will allow students to critically evaluate representations of domestic violence in a variety of contexts.

2. HMS 357 Workplace and School Violence (MW 2-3:15 PM)

The instructors will deliver coursework in order to fulfill the learning outcomes according to

existing syllabi, with flexibility in content and delivery as appropriate.

Please indicate in your cover letter any expertise or experience you have teaching courses on domestic violence or workplace violence.

MA in relevant field (Ph.D. preferred). Teaching experience preferred but not required.

+ a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or

+ a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.
