Glenville State University invites applications from individuals interested in part-time employment as Adjunct Faculty to fill an emergency opening teaching early British literature (beginning with works in Old English and continuing through the 18th century) in a 3-credit hour online class composed of high school dual-enrollment/dual-credit students. The class has been in progress for several weeks, but the instructor will not be able to continue teaching it due to a medical situation. Examples of Duties The ideal candidate for this job will be able to take over teaching the course immediately. While course syllabi and instructional materials have already been provided by Glenville State University for this in-progress class, the instructor who fills this position may adapt some aspects of the course with approval. Typical Qualifications A master's degree in English or a master's degree in a related area with 18+ graduate hours in the content area is required. Salary is commensurate with degree qualifications.
