Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Instructor (face-to-face and online) - Audio Recording and Engineering (Entertainment Technologies) is located in the Division of Liberal Arts. This is a part-time position. This position is open for recruitment.

Fine Arts and Communication Department Chair
**COMPENSATION:**
Salary: $2,500 per 3-hour credit course taught
**Estimated Hours per Week:** Summer, Fall, and Spring schedules
**Dates/Times -** Day, night and weekend classes; various times available

**Required Education:**
+ Associates degree in audio recording or demonstrated competencies in audio recording and engineering as documented by professional work experience directly related to the curriculum
**Required Experience:**
+ 2 years of experience teaching audio recording and engineering courses or 4 years of professional experience working in the audio recording industry
+ Experience managing professional audio recording studio software and equipment
**Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities** **:**
+ Expertise in Avid ProTools
+ Avid ProTools certification a plus
**Job Concepts**
Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
