The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be teaching cello lessons; a semester of lessons is comprised by 10 one-hour lessons within the 14-week semester. The successful candidate will also adjudicate juries and recitals and participate in auditions and recruitment activities for prospective students. Additional opportunities may include coaching chamber music, performances, faculty recitals, workshops, and community outreach.Qualifications Applicants are expected to have:
  • Master's Degree in Music in Cello Performance or Music Education;
  • Significant experience teaching musicians of varied ages and abilities;
  • Significant performance experience;
  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in an educational environment.
