The assignment is on a semester-to-semester basis and may be on-campus (in-person) teaching, or online teaching. The position requires flexibility of schedule which may include days, evenings, and a variety of campus locations. These duties include the evaluation & supervision of students, working collaboratively with the Program Coordinator and other faculty, and completing professional development requirements for adjunct faculty.Job Duties:•Demonstrate current knowledge required by the curriculum for Family Studies.•Provide classroom instruction for undergraduate family studies courses including, but not limited to, Introduction to Family Studies and/or Human Sexuality.•Competently adjust provided online components (LMS and publisher content and engagement platforms) to best meet students' needs with assistance from Program Coordinator.•Practice regular and consistent interaction with, and feedback to, students through LMS and/or classroom venue. •Work collaboratively with faculty & staff to provide education, evaluation, and supervision to students.•Complete required professional development training required of adjunct faculty.•Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:•Master's degree in family studies or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in family studies required.•Course Prefix FAM or written confirmation of family studies credits with other course prefixes.Preferred Qualifications:•Master's degree in family studies and at least two years of teaching experience. •Experience with Blackboard and other instructional technology.Additional Skills Requested:Advertised: 10 Sep 2024 Eastern Daylight Time Applications close: 31 Dec 2024 Eastern Standard Time
