Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Communication, such as journalism, broadcasting, and graphic design.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeach courses as defined by course and learning objectives established through the college and defined in teaching letter of agreement. Adjuncts can teach a minimum of one class per academic year and up to 4 classes per semester. Qualifications
- Preferred of a master's degree in Communication or closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, public relations, broadcasting, or graphic design).
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Communication or closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, graphic design) as well as 10+ years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to adjust to changing needs and processes while anticipating challenges, identifying problems, and developing solutions
Experience
- Teaching experience preferred
- Student-centered teaching approaches
- Professional experience in the Communication field preferred.
