The Integumentary course is offered in Fall semester (August 26-December 13, 2024) and the Geriatrics and Special Populations courses are offered in Fall 2025 semester, and Health Promotion is offered in Fall 2026 semester.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and teach the lecture portion of the course using online delivery to include weekly one-hour synchronous sessions.
- Courses include weekly one-hour synchronous sessions.
- Laboratory content for courses occurs on campus in Louisville, KY.
QualificationsSKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- DPT or terminal doctoral degree.
- Active license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Kentucky if teaching laboratory content.
- Completion of graduate-level subject matter courses in Movement Science.
- Experience teaching similar content in a DPT curriculum preferred.
INTERRELATIONS
- Regular or daily contact course coordinator and other DPT faculty and students.
- Must have an appreciation and respect for diverse populations.
