The Department of Engineering Technologies offers a diverse set of programs/courses in the areas listed below:
  • Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing Technology (CAD)
  • Computer Engineering Technology
  • Digital Simulation & Gaming
  • Electromechanical Engineering Technology
  • Information Security
  • Plastics Engineering Technology
  • Machine Tools

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE)Qualifications can vary depending on experience and courses or programs, but include the following:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate degree in the respective discipline or related area
  • Ability to use technology in teaching
  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
  • Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening - daytime availability a plus (in some cases may be required)
