College: DCCDepartment: Academic AffairsSub department: TechnicalType of Appointment: Unclassified - AdjunctDuties and Responsibilities: Within the scope of their duties, Adjunct Faculty are expected to* prepare and provide course or laboratory lectures;* hold office hours in the amount of (30) minutes per lecture/lab course on-campus/site at times convenient for students;* prepare and grade examinations;* maintain class records and report grades;* participate in formative class evaluations and an end-of-the-semester/session evaluation session; and* complete all required/mandated employee training/professional development as applicableRequired Education: High School Diploma or equivalencyRequired Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of 3- 5 years of technician experience working in the heating, refrigeration, and A/C industry.Basic computer skillsRequired Licenses or Certifications: EPA certificationPreferred Education: Certificate of Technical studies or higher from an accredited college or universityPreferred Experience: Teaching experiencePassing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
