Requirements
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of demonstrated experience in the industrial maintenance field
- Relevant industry certifications
- Daytime and/or evening on-campus availability

Whenever possible, the Faculty Member shall give prior notice to the Supervising Administrator of his or her intention to use said leave.Bereavement and Legal Leave: Refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Adjunct Faculty.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTWith prior approval of the appropriate Supervising Administrator, Adjunct Faculty may be absent from class with pay to attend workshops, conferences, or seminars directly related to their work at the College. Unless a greater amount is approved by the Provost and Vice President, Academic Affairs, the College shall pay up to $400 per fiscal year for workshop, conference, or seminar for fees and expenses incurred by the Faculty Member, which may be requested from a pool not to exceed $12,000 per fiscal year. For Adjunct Faculty in Tiers 2 and above, the professional development allowance may also include memberships in professional organizations, books, subscriptions, publications related to the Faculty Member's academic discipline, documentation of successful completion of a college-level course that advances the Adjunct Faculty Member's professional development, or other professional development as approved by the Provost and Vice President, Academic Affairs or designee.RETIREMENT BENEFITSRetirement System: State Universities Retirement System (SURS)-choice of Traditional, Portable, or Retirement Savings Plan with 8% pre-tax payroll deductionSavings Plan: SURS Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) 457(b) - automatic enrollment with pre-tax payroll deduction (3%).
