New Jersey City University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty Pool in the Department of Art. The successful candidate should possess a Ph.D. or ABD with teaching experience of a similar course for more than a year can apply.
Currently available art-history course is a section of Art Now, a General-Education course, which explores the intersection of art, music, and popular culture throughout the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The class meets every Tuesday, 11:20 - 2 p.m. and cap is 25.
The candidate may possibly teach 2 sections of the same course in the following semester and onward, and there is an option of turning it into an online course.
