The department offers baccalaureate degrees in chemistryand minors in physics and environmental science. We are looking for part-time,adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate physics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate courses in physics. The current need is for anadjunct instructor of General Physics 1 & 2.Demonstrate effective teaching strategies by planning andimplementing a variety of teaching methods as well as assessment.Maintain accurate records and documents and submit timely reports.Records/documents include but are not limited to syllabi, grades, and officehours.Know and uphold the policies in the most current faculty handbook. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
