Responsibilities:The Psychology and Counseling Department at New York Institute of Technologys Old Westbury campus, anticipates openings for part-time (adjunct) faculty for the Fall 2024 semester. We expect that the new faculty hires will be assigned to teach PSYC 101 in addition to courses in ones specialty.
Qualifications:
These candidates must have a minimum Master's degree in psychology and prior experience in teaching college level psychology classes. However, having a doctoral degree in psychology is preferred.
Candidates should have prior experience in remote and/or online teaching using an LMS (such as Blackboard or Canvas) for course delivery. All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation, as needed, before the start of the semester.

Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.
