Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Adhere to class schedules as posted. Communicate course requirements to students.Teach face-to-face, hybrid and online classes as needed.Be available to assigned students for support and course advising including exams, required remediation, and summative evaluations.Be collaborative with other CBE faculty as well as the Director to plan, implement and evaluate each course offering taught to maintain quality and effectiveness.Follow the policies and procedures of the CBE and the University of Southern Mississippi.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsMaster degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the field of instruction. Additionally, should be AACSB qualified for being an instructor of record.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Candidate must have earned 18 graduate hours or have significant and documented work experience in the teaching field (e.g., MGT, ACC, FIN, or MKT, etc.).
- The ability to deliver accurate, concise, and quality communication (verbal and written) in timely manner.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other faculty in the unit.
- The ability to navigate and use learning management systems for teaching, such as Canvas, as well as other technological communications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Proficiency in teaching strategies and techniques for diverse student populations
