Major ResponsibilitiesNutrition 111/Human Nutrition emphasizes biochemical and physiological principles. The course covers the structure, function, digestion and metabolism of nutrients with a focus on how poor dietary habits contribute to the development of disease.We are seeking an adjunct to instruct an asynchronous online section of the course.Current and former faculty teaching Ntr111 will be available for consultation on the course content and textbook used.Educational RequirementsMinimum requirements are a Masters Degree in Nutrition, college level experience teaching Nutrition and the ability to use the Brightspace LMS for the online instruction.Our Teaching and Learning Office provides support for the Brightspace Learning Management System.Salary Adjunct salary is based on the number of contract hours per semester, remunerated at the rate of $1,185 per credit hour taught per semester Employment Type Adjunct Additional Information When applying, please include a letter of interest, resume, names, telephone numbers and email addresses of three professional references.
