The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution. Fire Instructor 1 or the ability to achieve Fire Instructor 1 with 6 months.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience teaching and/or developing training in the field of Fire Science.10 or more years' experience in the field.Prior leadership positions in the field as a fulltime firefighter.Physical Demands:Typical demands of teaching at the university exist, with the ability to stand for up to 4 hours in a single class session.
