Job Title: Adjunct Instructor for Exercise Science

Department: School of Science and Health

Reports To: Director, School of Science and Health

Job Type: This is a part time, exempt position.

General Description:

William Woods University is now accepting applications for an adjunct instructor to teach EXS 365/366- Exercise Testing and Prescription and its associated lab. The lecture and lab is 4-credits and we would prefer to find someone to teach both lecture and lab. The lecture is currently MWF 9 - 9:50 and the lab is currently Tuesday 9:20 - 10:40. The lecture might be able to move to TR 8 - 9:15 to minimize the days on campus if that is more convenient.

Position Requirements:

* A doctorate in Exercise Science is preferred, but applicants with a master's in Exercise Science will be considered.

* Experience teaching labs and professional working experience in the related fields is preferred.

* Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

* Ability to develop a professional rapport with diverse school/campus constituents.

* Outstanding conflict resolution skills.
