Adjunct Instructor, History of Design and Applied ArtsThe Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for our History of Art and Visual Culture department to teach History of Design and Applied Arts in the Spring 2025 semester.Course Details: This is an in-person, on-campus course. This course is an integrated survey of the history of design practices and their applied arts from the Industrial Revolution to the present. Designed for first year students, and through weekly lectures and discussions, this course will explore the ideas, principles, and styles of various design vanguards through the applied arts across the domains and practices of commercial and decorative art and design, including architecture, interior design, graphic design, commercial illustration, product and industrial design, and fashion design.Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-timeQualifications: A Masters degree in art or design history is required and previous teaching experience preferred.Date of Hire: Spring 2025Please apply by visiting ApplicantPro.com and searching for Industrial Design.
