- Develop and deliver continuing education courses that meet Iowa Real Estate commission requirements.
- Update course materials to reflect current laws, regulations, market trends, and industry standards.
- Utilize engaging and interactive teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Conduct in-person and online classes for licensed real estate agents and brokers
- Tailor course delivery to meet the diverse needs of adult learners with varying levels of experience
- Encourage discussions and real-world application of course topics.
- Ensure all course content aligns with Iowa's real estate licensing and continuing education standards.
- Stay informed about changes in Iowa real estate law, market conditions and licensing requirements.
- Attend industry conferences and training sessions to maintain expertise in the field
Qualifications
- Active Iowa real estate license required (broker license preferred)
- Must meet the Iowa Real Estate Commission's requirements to serve as an instructor
- Prior teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with educational technologies and online learning platforms.
- Familiarity with continuing education requirements for Iowa real estate professionals
- Ability to pass a background check
Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally. Standing/sitting in front of a classroom, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment.
