Job Description:
The Department of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Regis College is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer for the Spring semester specializing in autism spectrum disorders to teach ABA 521: Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorders. Class materials will be provided. Class will be held once a week on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-7:30pm in Andover, MA. Class begins on Wednesday, January 22nd and runs through Wednesday, April 23rd.This course section is taught in person on the Andover, MA campus at Melmark New England.Essential Functions:Teach ABA 521 (lecture) as a synchronous, in-person course and engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section: grading, office hours, student engagement, alignment with other course sections, academic assessment.Requirements:An earned PhD in ABADemonstrated evidence of at least three years prior teaching experience at the graduate levelCommitment to creating an inclusive classroom learning environment in keeping with the University's commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other ABA faculty to ensure consistency across class sections.Demonstrated familiarity with academic assessment.Familiarity with the learning management system Moodle is preferred, but not required.Working Conditions/Physical Demands:Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job.
