The Clinical Instructor will teach in the undergraduate program at a clinical site with 8-9 students with an emphasis on the care of a patient within the psychiatric/medical-surgical patient population. Clinical instructors are expected to be available for all clinical assignments once scheduled during the semester. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Complete facility orientation prior to the start of clinical. Create patient assignments prior to the start of the clinical day. Supervise students in all aspects of care of patients/clients. Review and provide feedback for all written clinical assignments. Submit grades for assignments as directed by course coordinator. Provide weekly feedback to students in the clinical area. Complete midterm/final clinical evaluations. Plan instructional activities for pre/post conferences. Communicate and issues at the clinical site with course coordinator. Responsible for all clinical hours assigned to the course.
