Purpose of Role
The Natural Science department at Daemen University invites applications for a one semester adjunct teaching position to teach Organic Chemistry labs and/or Bioorganic Chemistry labs for Spring 2025. Applicants interested in teaching one or multiple sections of labs are welcome to apply. Please indicate in your teaching load preference in your letter of interest. All applicants must be willing and able to teach in face-to-face modality.
$1537.50 Per Semester
Required Qualifications
Education
* Master's degree in chemistry or a related discipline required.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience with common organic and biochemistry chemistry lab techniques.
* Knowledge of laboratory safety and common hazards in an organic and biochemistry lab.
* Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills necessary to plan, implement and evaluate educational activities to assure compliance with established goals and objectives.
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all university constituents.
