  • Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plan environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
  • Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
  • Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
  • Train personnel to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
  • Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
  • Perform operator duties as required.
  • Provide feedback to the Shift Supervisor on the performance of the department and assist in performance reviews of the personnel they lead.
  • Set print and gauge printers.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
