Description & Requirements Maximus is looking for Initial PIA reviewer at our Maximus Pharr, TX location. The Initial PIA reviewer Processes PIA applications and supporting documentation to determine funding commitments based on the E-rate Program policies, procedures and guidelines. Communicates with schools, libraries, consultants and service providers to obtain the documentation required to make funding commitment decisions following specific Program guidelines. This is an onsite role at the Maximus Pharr TX location. -Must have experience supporting E-rate program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct reviews of applications submitted by schools and libraries for discounts for internet access, internal connections, basic maintenance of internal connections, and managed internal broadband services and equipment to determine funding commitments based on E-rate Procedures. - Communicate with applicants and other stakeholders through the EPC system, email, and by telephone to obtain the required documentation required to process applications. - Utilize E-Rate Procedures, job aides, checklists and other tools and documentation to process applications according to Program rules and guidelines. - Perform quality reviews of applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Escalate issues and questions as they arise when processing Program documents. - Perform other operational support functions as required. Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent required. - 3-6 months of related experience. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. - Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail. - Work on assignments that are routine in nature; however, ability to adjust to complexities in work assignments as they arise. - Ability to acquire job skills and learn applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments. - Ability to read, understand and perform assignments within prescribed guidelines. - Ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts. - Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. - Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. - Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
