Job Description The Admin Assistant will ensure OTIF goals by actively engaging in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures. The role involves notifying others of warehouse concerns to increase productivity, improve service, decrease or avoid costs, and identifying areas where they can assist in resolving concerns. The Admin Assistant will work in an effort of continuous improvement, utilizing self IDPs and reviews to guide their direction of growth as well as meet the organization's expectations for the role.
Responsibilities - Ensure OTIF goals by actively engaging in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures.
- Notify others of warehouse concerns to increase productivity, improve service, decrease or avoid costs, and begin to identify areas where you can assist in resolving concerns.
- Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics
•Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours •Purchase parts and safety supplies •Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports •Month end accruals and reporting •Process personnel changes and maintain files
- Gain competence in standard operations within all areas of Administration to support Inventory, Systems, Office, and the overall distribution functions.
- Cover and/or ensure breaks, lunches, and other staffing needs of the Administration Group.
- Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and other sites as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications - Previous customer service experience highly preferred
