Qualifications
Position Purpose: Provides support for Manager of Administrative Services.
Key
Responsibilities: 1. Provides support for the Manager of Administrative Services and Admissions Coordinator. Maintains systems which enhance administrative effectiveness of department operations.
* Provides and maintains ongoing scheduling of Residential staff.
* Provides communication support in operating the facility telephone system and
receiving visitors.
* Reflects behavior, attitude and appearance appropriate to the position and is supportive of the facility and division philosophy, goals and objectives.
* Provides training to staff on proper documentation of resident behaviors and serious incidents.
* Acts as departmental internal monitor and reviews documentation at random.
* Participates in PI and corporate compliance duties.
* Performs other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the facility.
* Demonstrates respect of human rights.
Qualifications: Understanding of administrative secretarial skills and well-developed organizational ability. Understanding of documentation system, data collection and data entry in resident chart. Knowledge/operation of word processing equipment, fax, copier and other equipment. Good verbal and written skills.
Education: High school diploma.
Licensure/
Certification: None required.
Experience: Two years related experience with adolescents and children. Previous experience with emotionally disturbed, mentally retarded, or physically disabled persons.
Physical
Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
